Miroir des Tendances! 28-30 Nov.

This weekend the fabulous Miroir des Tendances brocante is taking over the streets of the 3rd arondissement. Marie Louise de Monterey is joining in with a wide selection of items on sale outside the boutique in 5 euro and 10 euro bins. Pop in, pick up a bargain and enjoy the fun... Shoes, dresses, some beautiful childrens garments and lots more gems to be discovered.

Who is Marie Louise de Monterey? Part 2

Lord Monterey owned a hotel particulair in the 16th Arrondisement and spent a good deal of money building separate quarters for Annyuska where she could carry out the remaining months of her confinement. He was messaged in the last days and made a hurried journey to Paris but Annyuska died giving birth. The sight of the baby, frail and of poor health, caused Monterey to cry until his grief caused his black mane of hair to turn white as snow. He named the baby Marie Louise after his own mother who had died giving birth to him. Her eyes were bewitching deep blue which he called the "Aegean depths" of which he said contained all the "tragedy o a great heroin."
